Riberam Preto, April 30, 2026 – The five-day 2026 Brazil International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (Agrishow) concluded successfully on April 27 in Riberam Preto, São Paulo state. As the largest and most influential agricultural technology event in Latin America, this year's exhibition attracted over 800 exhibitors from around the world, covering an exhibition area of 520,000 square meters, with over 195,000 visitors and intended transactions reaching 14.6 billion reais (approximately US$2.9 billion), setting a new record.

Chinese Agricultural Machinery Team Shines in Latin America, Customized Solutions Become the Focus

Chinese agricultural machinery companies were one of the biggest highlights of this year's exhibition. Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture showcased 12 high-end intelligent tractors, including the global debut of the Lovol M654N tractor, specifically designed for Brazilian coffee cultivation. With its narrow wheelbase design, low-speed high-torque power system, and rapid switching between multiple implements, it quickly became a favorite among coffee plantation owners. Another flagship product, the TN2604 tractor, attracted a large number of large-scale farm owners for test drives thanks to its high-flow hydraulic system and Weichai's high-end powertrain technology.

Shandong Lingong showcased eight customized models, covering loaders, excavators, and tracked tractors, providing one-stop solutions for soil management and irrigation system construction needs in Latin America. Hanwo Agricultural Equipment launched a matrix of 50-100 horsepower tractors, adapted to the standards of large-scale farmland operations in South America, with overseas orders increasing by 300% year-on-year. In addition, companies such as DJI Agriculture and XAG showcased agricultural drones and intelligent irrigation systems, further demonstrating China's leading advantages in the digitalization of agricultural machinery.

Yellow Line Equipment Crosses Over into Agriculture, Revolutionizing Efficiency Across Latin American Farms. The exhibition featured a "Yellow Line Equipment Zone" for the first time, showcasing innovative applications of construction machinery such as loaders and excavators in agriculture. Data from the Brazilian Association of Construction and Mining Technology shows that by 2025, agribusinesses will be the main purchasers of 34,500 yellow line equipment units, transforming this type of equipment from a supporting role in infrastructure to a core component of farm operations.

Caterpillar showcased a smart tracked tractor equipped with a soil compaction monitoring system, capable of adjusting operating parameters in real time to protect farmland; John Deere's multi-functional backhoe excavator integrates cargo handling and irrigation pipeline laying functions, increasing efficiency by 40% per unit. João Marchesan, President of Agrishow, stated, "The agricultural transformation of the yellow-lined equipment marks Latin American agriculture's entry into the 'precision and efficiency era.'"

A smart agricultural ecosystem is taking shape, with AI and new energy technologies being implemented. The "Agrishow Labs" section of the exhibition became a showcase for startups. Brazilian company AgroSmart launched an AI crop monitoring platform that uses satellite imagery and field sensor data to achieve pest and disease early warning and irrigation optimization, already serving over 100,000 hectares of farmland. China YTO Group Corporation's Dongfanghong Smart Agriculture APP integrates agricultural machinery scheduling, agricultural records, and market access functions, building a smart agricultural ecosystem of "equipment + service + data."

The new energy sector also presented numerous highlights. John Deere showcased an electric combine harvester that can operate continuously for 8 hours on a one-hour charge, suitable for small and medium-sized farms; Weichai Lovol's hydrogen fuel cell tractor targets the emission reduction needs of large farms, reducing daily operating costs by 35% compared to diesel models.

International cooperation deepens, with Chinese and Brazilian agricultural technologies flowing in both directions. During the exhibition, Chinese and Brazilian companies signed several cooperation agreements. Weichai Lovol formed a strategic alliance with Coopavel, Brazil's largest agricultural cooperative, to build three agricultural machinery service centers locally over the next three years; Shandong Lingong partnered with São Paulo State University to jointly establish an "Agricultural Mechanization Laboratory," jointly developing specialized equipment suitable for tropical rainforest climates.

Brazilian Agriculture Minister Marcos Montes emphasized at the opening ceremony: "The technology input and localized innovation of Chinese agricultural machinery companies are helping Brazil achieve its goal of doubling agricultural exports by 2030." Fan Jianhua, President of the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association, stated: "The Latin American market has become an important growth pole for Chinese agricultural machinery exports. In 2025, China's agricultural machinery exports to Brazil increased by 52% year-on-year, and its share is expected to exceed 20% in the next three years."

Conclusion: From "Technology Import" to "Global Co-creation" From Weichai Lovol's coffee plantation-specific models to Shandong Lingong's agricultural transformation of yellow-line equipment, and the smart agriculture platform jointly developed by China and Brazil, the 2026 Brazil Agricultural Machinery Exhibition witnessed the leap of Chinese agricultural machinery from "product export" to "technology symbiosis." On this land of the world's largest coffee producer, an agricultural revolution driven by intelligent equipment and green technology is injecting new momentum into food security in Latin America and even globally.
